Message from Councillor David Hendsbee, MLA Kent Smith, MP Sean Fraser

We would like to sincerely thank the Infrastructure Committee of the Musquodoboit Harbour and Area Chamber of Commerce and Civic Affairs for the important work they carried out throughout the Fall of 2025.

We have received the Committee’s report outlining the feedback and findings gathered from the community. We appreciate the time, effort, and thoughtful engagement that went into this work.

At this time, no decisions have been made regarding the future of the former Eastern Shore District High School building.

We are committed to ensuring the community remains informed and engaged throughout this process. A public meeting will be held in the near future to share next steps and provide an opportunity for further discussion.

We look forward to continuing to work collaboratively with the community, local organizations, and stakeholders as we move forward together.

We would appreciate your comments and suggestions after reading the report. Please email: esdhs@mhacc.ca
